The Women of Troy – Blue Elephant Theatre

I’ve been off the scene for a little while, new job and new house took over!
The Women of Troy wraps in 2 weeks and I cannot recommend it highly enough! I made two of the costumes: bias cut 1930s evening dresses No pressure! I very much enjoyed it and below are some images!

Madness of King George

I’m currently taking a little break from costume, paying off the overdraft first!

But I did work on something a couple of weeks back, The Madness of King George for the Icarus Theatre Company

I only made the underwear for the Countess of Pembroke (that’s her being manhandled on the left there):

still pretty exciting to know something I’ve made is on tour.

Speaking of which, Angel Exit are touring Moonfleet, which is also pretty cool and if you’re in the area I urge you to check it out

Lady Windermere’s Fan – Poole Lighthouse – AUCB Performance

I recently dressed and alteredĀ  on a show put on by the performance students of the AUCB (costume designs by Catherine Arnold and supervised by Annabel Clark). Cat had also included one of my costumes in her design.

It was crazy doing the quick changes in victorian costumes, genuinely thought we wouldn’t make it some nights, but the show was so good it was totally worth all the hard work!
